NOTICE OF WORK SESSION HAYWARD PLANNING COMMISSION DATE: Thursday, October 10, 2024 TIME: 7:00 P.M. PLACE: City Hall Council Chamber (777 B Street, Hayward, CA 94541) and Virtual Platform via Zoom (please refer to the posted agenda in the Meeting & Agenda Center https://hayward.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx On the above date, at approximately the hour noted, the Hayward Planning Commission will hold a public work session on the following matter: MAJOR SITE PLAN REVIEW APPLICATION NO. SPR-23-0036 FOR THE STACK DATA CENTER PROJECT LOCATED AT 26062 EDEN LANDING ROAD Project Description: Major Site Plan Review application for the STACK Data Center Project at Eden Landing. As proposed, the project would include demolition of nine existing one-story office and industrial buildings, totaling approximately 165,000 square feet, and development of an approximately 310,000 square foot, three story data center that will reach up to 100 feet in height (Building A); two smaller one story accessory buildings totaling approximately 1,700 square feet (Building B and a guard station); 28 emergency generators arranged in two generator yards; and an onsite project substation and PG&E switching station. The site is approximately 11.37 acres and comprised of two parcels. A copy of the staff report may be reviewed on the City's website at https://hayward.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx. Staff reports are available the Friday before the work session. Following the October 10, 2024 Planning Commission work session, this item will go back to the Planning Commission at a public hearing for final action, likely in 2025.
