CITY OF PLACENTIA NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS Jaycee Parkette Renovation CITY PROJECT NO. 7313 The City of Placentia invites sealed bids for a project that includes: removal of existing play equipment, rubber surfacing, sand and other existing conditions, construction of park improvements, installation of play equipment, shade sail, concrete footings, site furnishings, rubber surfacing, concrete sidewalk, hydration station, misting tower, plumbing, irrigation, landscape, solar lighting, construction staking and such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required to complete the project. All construction work shall be in accordance with the project bid documents, plans, technical specifications and all other references as depicted in strict adherence to the latest Greenbook, City’s standards and all other State and utility agency specifications. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $510,000. The Bid Package and Contract Specifications are available to download at no cost from the City’s electronic bid management system, PlanetBids at: http://pbsystem.planetbids.com/portal/54600/portal-home. Bidders must be registered on the City of Placentia’s PlanetBids portal in order to receive addendum notifications and to submit a bid. Go to PlanetBids for bid results and awards. It is the responsibility of the bidder to submit the bid with sufficient time to be received by PlanetBids prior to the bid opening date and time. Allow time for technical difficulties, uploading, and unexpected delays. Late or incomplete bids will not be accepted. NO HARD COPY BID DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE.
