NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the governing board (“Board”) of the Stockton Unified School District (“District”) will receive sealed bids for the following project, Bid No. 26.006, Bid Package Arthur Coleman Building 2nd Floor Tenant Improvements(“Project” or “Contract”): The Project consists of: Tenant improvement to a 5,900 square foot space located on the second floor of an existing two-story building. The scope of work includes the construction of seven offices and an open work area, and conference rooms. The project also includes upgrades to electrical and mechanical systems, along with other interior renovations as required. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors’ license(s): B – General Building Contractor The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. Contract Documents will be available on or after August 1, 2025, on the District’s website, https://www.stocktonusd.net/projects-out-to-bid using the link. In addition, Contract Documents are available for bidders’ review at the following builders’ exchanges within the link: https://www.stocktonusd.net/pcc-22036-trade-journals Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., August 27, 2025, at the District Facilities Office, 1944 N. El Pinal Drive, Stockton, California 95205at or after which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be nonresponsive and returned to the bidder. Any claim by a bidder of error in its bid must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on August 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at 56 South Lincoln Street, Stockton, CA 95203. All participants are required to sign-in at the reception desk at the front of the building. The site visit is expected to take approximately 1 Hour. Failure to attend or tardiness will render bid ineligible.
