
PUBLIC NOTICE CENTRAL MARIN SANITATION AGENCY NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS FOR THE SOLIDS HANDLING BUILDING ELEVATOR CONTROL REPLACEMENT PROJECT CMSA CONTRACT NO. 26-19 ("PROJECT") The Project includes furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to modernize of one geared traction passenger elevator including new controller, door operator, signal fixtures, wiring, AC motor, rope brake, and recondition governor, geared machine, deflector sheave, and all other work required for a complete and legal installation including but not limited to electrical, fire life safety and HVAC. The estimated cost of construction is $630,000. A valid Class C-11 California contractor's license is required to bid on the Project. Sealed bids must be delivered to the Central Marin Sanitation Agency ("CMSA"), 1301 Andersen Drive, San Rafael, California on or before 1:30 PM on Thursday January 29, 2026 (Pacific Time). At that time the bids will be publicly opened and read. An mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday January 13, 2026 at CMSA's Administration Building at 1301 Andersen Drive in San Rafael, California. A site visit prior to bidding is mandatory. A site visit may be conducted by the Contractor at its convenience prior to the preparation of its bid if the Owner is notified at least 24 hours in advance.
