NOTICE OF UPCOMING SOLICITATION INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) 26-S-C-152 NORTH BASE (NB) WATER LINE REPLACEMENT The San Mateo County Transit District (Agency) intends to release the above-titled invitation for bid in May 2026 for: This Public Works project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for: The San Mateo County Transit District is soliciting bids for the North Base Water Line Replacement Project at SamTrans North Base, 301 N. Access Road, South San Francisco, CA. The Project includes replacement of existing underground domestic water and fire water lines, installation of new fire hydrants, tie-ins to existing building service connections, limited associated work within or adjacent to existing buildings as required to complete those tie-ins, and installation of related appurtenances. Additional work includes demolition of existing reinforced concrete, trenching, backfill, installation of new reinforced concrete, and striping activities in a phased construction process to maintain base operations.
