DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The County of Sutter intends to award a contract which includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the specific trade construction for the trowbridge yard rehabilitation design & construction project designated on the project’s construction documents. The work includes the following: The demolition of select existing facilities, site clearing, and rough grading, followed by implementation and maintenance of all Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) measures. Construction shall include installation of underground utilities consisting of storm drainage, sanitary sewer, domestic water systems, a new on-site well, and a fire suppression tank, along with development of east and west retention ponds. Site improvements include fine grading; construction of asphalt paving for parking areas, including ADA-compliant stalls and driveway tie-ins; and installation of concrete curbs and sidewalks. Additional work includes installation of a trash enclosure, chain link fencing along the west frontage, a sliding access gate, and all associated appurtenances, followed by final grading, stabilization, and site restoration. This portion of the project will be constructed with a single Prime Contractor and the respective subcontractors with the designated work completed and ready for acceptance within one hundred forty (140) working days following the date of commencement of Contract Time stated in the Notice to Proceed, as identified in Section 00 52 00 Agreement. Fifteen (15) calendar days are authorized for mobilization and shall not be reduced prior to working days. This Bid Package is for the Prime Contractor.
