NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND PROPOSALS FOR MODULAR CONTRACTORS FOR MODERNIZATION AND NEW CONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AT EARLIMART ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OWNER: Earlimart School District 785 E Center Ave Earlimart, CA 93219 PROJECT TITLE / BID: Modular Contractors for Modernization and New Construction Improvements Project at Earlimart Elementary School PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Earlimart School District ("District") is issuing a Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P) from experienced entities to provide Modular Contractor Services for the District's Modernization and New Construction Improvements Project at Earlimart Elementary School. The responses to this RFQ/P shall be used to select a firm that provides the best value to the District Modular Contractor services to assist the District in the project. The project includes the modernization of two new transitional kindergarten/kindergarten (TK/K) classrooms, a play area, two new classroom wings with five general purpose classrooms and a set of restrooms, one new building with two general purpose classrooms to be upgraded, two existing TK/K classrooms to be modernized as well as six general purpose classrooms to be upgraded, one new 3,100 sf administration building with and attached 1,800 sf library, and a small visitor parking lot with kindergarten drop off area. RESPONSE DEADLINE / LOCATION: There is a Prequalification component to this RFQ/P pursuant to AB 1565 of all general contractors and all mechanical, electrical and plumbing subcontractors. A bid will not be accepted from any contractor or subcontractor that is required to complete a prequalification application and submit supporting documents pursuant to AB 1565.
