PUBLIC NOTICE CENTRAL MARIN SANITATION AGENCY NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS FOR THE CENTRIFUGE DEWATERING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT CMSA CONTRACT NO. 25-07 ("Project") The Project includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to remove and install three (3) Owner-furnished dewatering centrifuges, including removal and replacement of control panels, replacement of a Master PLC, salvaging existing equipment, demolition of a monorail crane system, installation of a new Owner-furnished bridge crane system, installation of load bearing beams and a raised walkway platform, replacement of a floor hatch, performing piping modifications, constructing all mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation and control work, and providing all appurtenances as shown in the plans and specifications. The estimated cost of construction is $4,034,461. A valid Class A California contractor's license is required to bid on the Project. Sealed bids must be delivered to the Central Marin Sanitation Agency ("CMSA"), 1301 Andersen Drive, San Rafael, California on or before 2:00 PM on Wednesday August 27, 2025 (Pacific Time). At that time the bids will be publicly opened and read. An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday August 13, 2025 at CMSA's Administration Building at 1301 Andersen Drive in San Rafael, California. A site visit prior to bidding is mandatory. A site visit may be conducted by the Contractor at its convenience prior to the preparation of its bid if the Owner is notified at least 24 hours in advance.
