
NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALSCORONA-NORCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTIn accordance with Public Contract Code 20111, Notice is hereby given that Corona-Norco Unified School District will receive up to, but not later than 10:00 a.m. on June 18, 2026 , sealed proposals for the award of a contract for Elevator Maintenance, Repair and Load Testing Services (RFP No. 2025-26-318).The full Request for Proposals document is available and downloadable via Bonfire E-Procurement website at https://cnusdk12.bonfirehub.com/ at no cost to Bidders.No Bidder may withdraw its Proposal for a period of sixty (60) Days after the date set for the opening of proposals. During this time, all bidders shall guarantee prices quoted in their respective proposals.All proposals shall be made and presented on forms furnished by the District. All proposals shall be submitted electronically via the Bonfire E-Procurement Platform, no later than the time and date stated above. No original/hard copy submissions of the Proposal Form will be accepted.In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code section 3300, District requires that Bidder possess the following classification of contractor’s license at the time that the Contract is awarded: C-11 Elevator Contractor . The successful bidder shall maintain the license throughout the duration of the contract. Small businesses and firms owned and controlled by women, minorities and persons with disabilities and/or disabled veterans are encouraged to participate in this solicitation.The awarded contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the prevailing wage requirements set forth in Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 of the Labor Code.No Contractor or Subcontractor may be listed on the Proposal Form or Designation of Subcontractor Form unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be awarded a contract for the Project unless registered with DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR.Each Proposal shall be accompanied by bid security (certified or cashier’s check or bid bond, executed by an admitted surety), as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total base bid, payable to District.
