CITY OF VALLEJO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE VALLEJO ARCHITECTURAL HERTIAGE AND LANDMARK COMMISSION WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING: Hearing Date, time & Location June 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Vallejo City Hall, 555 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo Project Name & Application(s) Historic Property Preservation (Mills Act) Agreement / PLN26-0044 Project Location & APN(s) 602 Georgia Street / APN 0056-201-200 Applicant(s) & Property Owner(s): Jean Drolet Project Description: The project consists of a request to enter into a Historic Property Preservation Agreement ("Mills Act Contract") with the City of Vallejo pursuant to California Government Code Sections 50280-50290. The Architectural Heritage and Landmark Commission will be asked to make a recommendation to the City Council for final approval of the Mills Act Contract. California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA): The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to Section 15331 of the CEQA Guidelines (Class 31, "Historical Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation") as the proposed Mills Act contract requires preservation of an historical resource consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards. Therefore, no further review is required under CEQA. Such appeal shall state the reason or reasons for the appeal and why the appellant believes they are adversely affected by the decision of the Architectural Heritage and Landmark Commission. Such appeal shall not be filed timely unless it is received with the required filing fee, as noted in the Master Fee Schedule In the event an appeal period ends on a weekend or any day that City Hall is closed, the appeal period shall end at the close of business on the next consecutive business day.
